7 The Tutorial Battle Is Not Very Explanatory
Around the time when a player first begins the game, they will be thrust into their first battle. Although a player may expect this tutorial fight to explain some of the mechanics of The Caligula Effect 2’s battles, this is not the case.
It is best to know that a player will not learn much in this tutorial battle. There will be many buttons and prompts that will not be explained to a player; the only way for them to figure out what does what is to simply try out each of these choices for themselves.
6 Answer Character Events Carefully
There are many character events through The Caligula Effect 2. Essentially, character events are certain interactions that players have with other characters; if the player succeeds in them, they will be able to delve deeper into the character’s stories and recruit them for their party.

There are tutorials for every other part of the game, which a player can look through if they ever find themselves confused.
A quick scroll through a few of the in-game tutorials should leave a player with more than enough knowledge of whatever they are stuck on. Plus, a player can revisit tutorials and guides any time they like.
3 Meet Up With More People
There are many characters for a player to meet up with in The Caligula Effect 2. It would do a player good to try and meet up and recruit as many people as they can, as it will aid them during battle.

It is always a good idea for a player to try and recruit somebody, as their skill set could be incredibly useful for them. A player who also deals with character events should remember to give some love to their new recruits, too, as it will be beneficial in the long run.
2 Battle More To Get Stronger
It may sound obvious at first, but fighting more enemies in The Caligula Effect 2 will always benefit the player. As the player goes through more and more fights through the game, not only do their characters earn more EXP and items, but a player will feel more natural in battles.
Due to the excess of information that a player will have to take in while in battles, it would be best for them to fight as much as they can. This will help them get used to how battles flow in the game.
1 Remember To Use The Right Moves
There are multiple types of moves for a player to get used to in The Caligula Effect 2. There are Catharsis Effect moves, Affection Effect moves, Battle Effect moves, and so on and so forth.
A player can also chain up to three attacks in one turn with each character; with four party members, that means a player can attack up to twelve times in one turn. It would be a great idea for a player to figure out the best chains needed in order to burst down their enemies as quickly as they can.
