There are many players who are diving into Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds for the first time, either as longtime fans of the franchise or newcomers to the series. Regardless, new players may need some beginner tips in order to get started in the game, to help them properly enjoy their experience.

7 The Main Story Is Great For Experience

If a player is lacking in experience, one of the best things that they can do is to simply play through the main story, completing any quests that may come their way. The main story is one of the best places to level up.

It is also a good way to get used to what the game has to offer. Going through the main story mode helps players get used to the game and its mechanics. Thus, players are encouraged to finish the story before they start to try and diverge into doing side quests or wandering around on their own.

6 The Swordsman And Witch Are Very Strong

In the beginning, players will be forced to choose between five classes: the Swordsman, the Engineer, the Rogue, the Destroyer, and the Witch. As with most games with class choices, each has their pros and cons, but certain classes are better for beginners.

Many players are recommended to choose the Swordsman or the Witch as their first class. These two classes are very beginner friendly, and are very well-rounded when it comes to supporting and attacking. However, it is worth noting that the Witch’s defense is pretty low, so that is something for players to consider.

5 Chaotic Land Is A Great Place For Leveling

The area Chaotic Land is extremely useful in terms of gathering experience for a player’s party. This is mainly due to the large amounts of enemies that will appear here, and how it will become relatively easy to defeat them later on in the game.

It is a good idea for players to go there as much as possible whenever they want to level up their party fast. The Chaotic Land makes for a great grinding spot, due to how efficient it is in terms of gaining experience.

4 Get Used To The Element System

Like many other gacha games, there is an element system that a player will have to get used to in order to master combat. Thankfully, the element system is rather simple, and similar to the element system in many other gacha games.

There are five elements in the game: Earth, Water, Fire, Dark, and Light. Earth counters Water, Water counters Fire, and Fire counters Earth. Light and Darkness, of course, counterattack each other, while they are, at the same time, neutral towards the other three elements.

3 Turn Off Automatic Counter For Manual Control

Players can gain more control over their party by turning off the Automatic Counter function. Essentially, Automatic Counter will ensure that the player will at least be able to counterattack a few times if everything plays out well.

However, more experienced players will want to manually counterattack when they feel the need to do so, as they would want to control when and where their counterattacks land. As such, more experienced players will want to turn off Automatic Counters in order to ensure that they have full control.

2 Join A Kingdom To Gain Buffs

Any player familiar with MMOs (or almost any other multiplayer game) will see that they will want to join a guild in Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds. In this game, the “guilds” are called Kingdoms, and joining them will be a great idea.

Joining a Kingdom will grant players all sorts of buffs and will allow them to buy other things from the guild shop. Players will also be able to participate in Kingdom-only content. These features include the No No Kuni: Cross Worlds version of guild wars, and so on and so forth.

1 Go For the Daily Raids

Daily raids are, essentially, bosses that will respawn every day when the server resets. Players will recieve incredible rewards for participating in the daily boss attacks, such as rare equipment and large amounts of money.

However, a player who is relatively new to the game may have problems with daily raids. After all, the boss battles are not easy. Before jumping into these raids, players should ensure that they are strong enough to take on the bosses. However, for those who take some time to train (perhaps by grinding in Chaotic Land as mentioned above), these battles are worth the effort.

Ni No Kuni is available on Android and iOS.
